By harnessing the best of the Anaplan platform, Beyond Plans has transformed the financial management of France Mutualiste, a century-old mutual insurance company. Carried out in agile mode, the project replaced the dispersed use of Excel with integrated forecasting tools, improving control of overheads and the wage bill. Challenges
- The France Mutualiste’s Admin & Finance Department aimed to formalize an internal process dedicated to the preparation of forecasts, while replacing the use of multiple Excel files with more appropriate tools.

Solutions
To date, France Mutualiste has carried out two projects using the Anaplan platform.
- The first project involved the development of a collaborative tool to manage the overheads budget, ensuring allocation according to auditable and easily maintainable rules.
- A second project was deployed a few months later, to set up a simulation tool for payroll.
Results
- These initiatives have enabled La France Mutualiste to strengthen the management of its overheads. In particular, they offer the possibility of checking the breakdown of costs in real time, before they are validated.
- The project also provides the various departments with better visibility of costs incurred compared with forecast budgets, thanks to Anaplan’s successful integration with existing accounting systems.
